Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting our construction projects through effective job cost accounting and WIP reporting. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, team collaborator, and excels in meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform month, quarter, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
  • Manage general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct job cost accounting and WIP reporting to monitor project performance.
  • Oversee compliance reporting and tax obligations, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Oversee Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including relevant experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in construction accounting or job costing (preferred but not required).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
